Vocationally speaking, I began life as a hairdresser. It was a job I loved. It was social, it was creative, it was challenging. Not to mention it foot the bill for my college education. Sixteen years later, as my husband and I were eagerly anticipating the birth of our third daughter I decided it was time for a change. I had secretly always wanted to be a writer and somehow found a Philadelphia newspaper as well as a few magazines that were foolish enough to pay me to put fingers to keyboard. Somewhere along the line I was also able to hoodwink the Screen Actors Guild and wrangled myself an invitation into their prestigious union. I’m a proud and, more importantly paid-in-full member of SAG-AFTRA which affords me the opportunity to hang out on movie sets and…do what I am told. But it wasn’t until a friend of mine strongly suggested, more like insisted really, that I get my symbol of a heart with a period next to into the hands of the public that I finally found my career path’s purpose. I never fully bought into the saying, everything you’ve ever done and everything you’re doing right now is preparing you for the next thing, until live love period came along. The trying task of unconditional love; living it, receiving it, giving it, all the while encouraging others to do the same is my true passion. And so it is that I welcome you to the official live love period website. Here you will find tangible expressions for showing the people in your life that you love them, period. Whether it’s a simple greeting card, our signature necklace or even prestige hair care products, it will serve to remind the people in your life that your love for them is unconditional. Because, perhaps everything we’ve ever done and everything we are doing right now is preparing us to live love, period.
